Classroom Champions program- Live with Olympic Speed Skater Tyson Langelaar
Mrs.Aquino's class has been participating in the Classroom Champions program. It is a social emotional learning program where you work through units on topics such as teamwork, perseverance, leadership and healthy living. Each class is assigned a mentor with whom they get to interact with by viewing videos and taking part in challenges etc. Today , their class got to have a Zoom meeting with Olympic Speed Skater Tyson Langelaar. The students got to ask questions, show him what they've been working on and even played a game with him of "would you rather!". He has been a great mentor and the class is excited to continue to learn alongside him and the Classroom Champions program.
